Four-star commit Telfort unwilling to close the door on others
Despite his longtime commitment to the University of Florida, Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington offensive tackle Kadeem Telfort is still listening to the sales pitch from several other programs.
If the Gators do end up losing him, it won't be because of a lack of effort on their part.
“The coaches text my phone two or three times out the day to stay in touch with me,” explained Telfort. “I talk with Coach Randy Shannon a lot. We are close. It’s nice to see they are still coming after me so hard even though I’ve been committed there so long.”
The four-star tackle flipped his commitment from Miami to Florida last summer after a visit to Gainesville. A big part in Telfort’s interest in picking the Gators lies with his relationship with Shannon.
