Florida coaches set to check in on two ACC commits on Tuesday
With the spring evaluation period in full swing the Florida coaching staff will continue to hit the Sunshine state of Florida hard on Tuesday. With head coach Jim McElwain on his speaking tour in Ft. Myers on Tuesday, the rest of the staff will be targeting areas of Southwest Florida along with various schools in the St. Petersburg area.
* Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will be stopping be various St. Petersburg high schools. He will make stops at Gibbs, St. Pete Catholic before capping the day off at Admiral Farragut. Nussmeier will also be stopping by Lakewood high school to see three-star wide receiver Matt Landers.
* Running back coach Tim Skipper will stop by Fort Myers High School to see three-star running back Darrien Felix. He will also stop by North Fort Myers High School as well - home to Florida State four-star running back commit Zaquandre White.
* Wide receivers coach Kerry Dixon will see 2018 running back Lorenzo Lingard at his high school. Over the last several months Lingard has bounced both Florida and Florida State around as his leader, but the Seminoles are clearly the team to beat for now.

* Defensive backs coach Torrian Gray will make stops by Gateway Charter High School, Dunbar, and South Fort Myers. Gray will also accompany Skipper to see Felix and White.
* Defensive line coach Chris Rumph will see 2018 defensive lineman Stacy Kirby at Orlando Jones, 2018 defensive end Dennis Briggs, and 2017 defensive end Kevince Brown at Orlando Christian High School.
* Tight ends coach Greg Nord will continue to hit high schools in the North Central Florida area. His stops will be to Vanguard and North Marion. The big targets at North Marion are Clemson offensive tackle commit Blake Vinson and 2018 athlete Justin Watkins.
* Offensive line coach Mike Summers will hit schools in the Tampa area making stops at Brandon, Durant, Spoto and East Bay. Summers is also expected to eye 2018 quarterback Devin Black at Lennard High School as well.
* Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins will be in the Southwest Florida area hitting Hardee, Desoto County, Charlotte and Venice.
* Linebacker coach and defensive coordinator Randy Shannon will also be in the Southwestern part of the state making stops at Immokalee, Naples, Barron Collier, Gulf Coast, and Lely high schools.
